The Las Araucarias ski area is about 79 km northeast of Temuco, Chile, on the western slope of Llaima Volcano, making it the closest ski area to the capital of the Araucanía Region.
It lies inside Conguillío National Park, a beautiful natural treasure surrounded by ancient araucaria forests, unforgettable scenery and lovely mountain lagoons.
Facilities
The Las Araucarias ski area has:
Café and bar: a renovated café, a new menu and a professional team make a visit to the Los Paraguas restaurant a pleasant time to share and enjoy its dishes.
First-aid station: a small first-aid station equipped for a safe stay, with the permanent support of the slope safety staff together with the Chilean Ski Patrol.
Lodging
For groups and individuals. A cozy place with everything for a pleasant stay: heated, with a kitchen, living room and dining room, for a total of 40 people.
On the second floor of the café there are two shared dormitories for 16 and 20 people, plus an apartment for 6 people.
